A group of MPs allied to the Kieleweke political wing led by Maina Kamanda, Ngunjiri Wambugu, Gathoni Wamuchomba and Joshua Kutunny visited the Naivasha AIPCA church and set the mood for politics.

The group hit out at Deputy President William Ruto accusing him of engaging in politics at the expense of President Uhuru Kenyatta's Big Four agenda.

"When the President is calling for an end to politics and more focus on delivering his Big Four, someone is going around the country doing 2022 politics. We can't allow that," Ngunjiri said.

The MPs also hit out at MPs supporting Ruto and accused them of being greedy.

"Those MPs supporting that man are greedy. They are doing so at the expense of Wanjiku. When they eat, have you eaten?" Wamuchomba said.

The sentiments angered the local MP Jayne Kihara, an ally of Ruto, to an extent that she refused to sit next to them.

When her turn to speak came, she told off the MPs over the jibes.

" I want to tell you MPs from central Kenya to leave us alone. Why do you want to bring trouble to the Rift Valley? You were not here when we hard issues, please stay at your places," Kihara said.

The political outbursts saw the service at the church disrupted as worshippers accused the Kieleweke team of being 'trouble makers'.

"They were not invited here. Why were they coming if not to cause trouble as they have done?" Emily Gathoni, a worshipper, posed.
