Deputy President William Ruto spokesperson David Mugonyi has finally spoken out of the so-called frosty relationship between Deputy President and his boss president Uhuru Kenyatta affirming that DP is still paying loyalty to his boss.
Mugonyi reiterated deputy president has shelved politics to focus development working along with Uhuru Kenyatta to deliver big four agenda, thus shaping the legacy that his boss is set to achieve.
“The deputy president has pronounced himself on the matter of development in the country. He always speaks his mind; he doesn’t need anyone to speak for him.
"It is in the public domain that those who made contrary remarks are elected leaders who are known," Mugonyi said as quoted by Daily Nation.
He denounced the imminent differences between the duos pointing out that there are leaders with heinous motives of creating mayhem within the party.
“But there are a few who want to twist this matter for cheap political gain. The deputy president respects and is loyal to his boss, the President.
"Any other view from political brokers is false, malicious and spurious and should be treated with contempt," stated Mugonyi, stashing the claims of divisions rife the ruling party on the recent ugly expression of dissatisfactions from its members on succession politics.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy have not meet in the public for the last two weeks which has sparked mixed reactions from political pundits on the fizzling warm relationship.
