Governor Amason Kingi has cleared the air on the issue of Mangororo primary school in Ganze, Kilifi County, after pictures of the dilapidated school circulated on social media, on Thursday.

According to the Kilifi county boss, the national government is to blame for the poor condition of the said school.

Governor Kingi noted that the dilapidated Mangororo primary school classrooms are under national government, adding that the county deals with ECD section which has fully furnished modern classrooms. 

In an interview with Standard Digital, area member of Parliament Teddy Mwambire blamed his predecessor for the poor condition of schools in the constituency.

Mwambire, however, noted that he is currently working on improving the condition of schools across his constituency.

"I found the constituency in dire need of development and I am in the process of implementing projects that will see the lives of Ganze people improve. It is true there are more than 30 schools which are in a bad state, currently, I am searching for donors to help build classrooms," the MP told the Standard.

"We plan to complete all of the projects that have not yet been completed. We are will seek donors and hold fundraisers to help us raise the money," he added.
