Even as the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) admits students to Form One based on their performance in the 2018 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), some parents whose kids performed well are sourcing for 'academic giant' schools.

Carmel Girls High School from Machakos County emerged third securing a mean score of 8.0 points.
