Pala revealed the allegation over the weekend while speaking during the opening of the Kangemi Recreational Park, though his sentiments did not go down well with Sonko's supporters who were in attendance.

"The governor was in the area earlier in the week and he soiled my name, saying he gave me Sh3 million meant for youth and I squandered it. So I went to the event so that I can clear my name in public," said Palapala.

The MCA said some goons attacked him with knives warning him to respect Governor Mike Sonko or face the music.

"They knocked me down and started beating me. But my bouncers were seriously hurt because they were shielding me," he added.

Palapala said he has reported the matter at the Kabete police station, however, Sonko's team denied the allegations saying Palapala has a tendency of disrespecting Governer Mike Sonko.
