Popular Egesa FM comedian cum presenter Joseph Mochere hanged himself two months before getting formal employment by Royal Media Services, it has emerged.
In unlikely turn out of events, Mochere, popularly known as Okebiro O'Mose commited suicide in what he linked to family wrangles.
But Egesa FM, after coming under immense criticism are Mochere's single-room life was exposed, said he was still working as a casual.
"Mochere had been given a platform by Egesa FM to showcase his talent after being identified.
"He was not an employee of Royal Media Services. But he was just about to be confirmed after showing his prowess on air," one of his colleague said.
Despite suspected family wrangles, confirmed from his suicide note, his fans blamed RMS for 'exploiting' his talent with little pay.
He first went on air in 2016 after working with the company from 2009.
In the suicide note, he blamed his wife for accusing him falsely of engaging in extra marital affairs.
“I have been patient enough but you have been stressing me for nothing. Take those children and look for another father who is not immoral and who has never seduced any lady. Goodbye," read the note.
