Raila Odinga's sharp memory played part in Wednesday's meeting with a section of youth leaders from Kisii and Nyamira Counties who paid him courtesy call at Capitol Hill.
The leaders, led by Kisii Youth Minister Duke Mainga, extensively discussed President Uhuru Kenyatta's impending tour in a weeks time for International Youth Day festivals.
And in the meeting, Raila personally identified most of delegation members even identifying their homes leaving Mainga with little to do.
"Sometimes it feels great when you meet a man of such caliber and he introduces you instead of you introducing yourself.
"He even recalls some of our villages and we were left with nothing to do other than crack ribs. He has such a good memory," said Vincent Osumo, part of the delegation.
Also in the delegation was Irene Mayaka, a staunch supporter of Raila and leader of defunct lobby group 'Daughters of Raila'.
While Raila may not accompany Uhuru on August 12th, he will however grace the closing ceremony of KICOSA games on August 17th this year.
