Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has asked the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to arrest Governor Alfred Mutua over graft allegations. He said that he will marshal Machakos residents to go and arrest Mutua if the EACC fails to do so
Speaking at Katwanyaa AIC church in Machakos, Muthama accused Mutua of allocating funds in many projects in the county that cannot be seen in ground terming it as massive corruption.
He also said that he has evidence and he is willing to forward it to EACC and Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to aid Mutua’s corruption claims
The ex-legislator has also urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to work with all leaders in the country for unity purposes.
Muthama further stated that former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka, together with Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, the ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula should all be included to Raila’s handshake pact that many people impressed in the country
“if Uhuru takes the route of unity without sidelining anybody, he will leave a legacy for himself and peace for the country,” he said
Muthama is among the leaders in the country who have been criticizing Mutua’s government for alleged misuse of public funds in the county
