Doctors at the Nairobi Hospital have discharged Chief Justice David Maraga following his involvement in an accident in Nakuru County on Saturday.
Maraga was accompanied by his wife Yucabeth Maraga during the accident as they headed to Church, after which they were rushed to the War Memorial Hospital for treatment.
They were later airlifted to the Nairobi Hospital on the orders of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
But the President of the Judiciary was on Sunday morning discharged from the hospital.
His wife who appeared to have been more injured, however, remained at the hospital.
Yucabeth is said to have sustained neck injuries during the accident that happened along Ngata area in Nakuru West constituency, but is also expected to be discharged soon.
The carnage left Maraga's car bonnet and front bumper badly damaged.
But addressing the media at the war memorial hospital on Saturday, the CJ who had a bandage on his forehead said that there is nothing to worry about, terming it a 'minor laceration'.
