A-64-year-old granny shocked and tickled a council of elders at Kitilini village in Kitui County when she appeared before them to explain circumstances under which she fled her matrimonial home.

She told the elders on terms and conditions she wanted her husband to meet before she returned.

Agnes Mwongeli lit the elders’ council when she reported her 70-year-old husband, accusing him of using a sex-enhancing drug suspected to be Viagra, and subjecting her to torturous bedroom 'marathons'.

Mwongeli spilled the beans and shamed her hubby, Makau, revealing how perverted he had become.

She got the elders squirming in their seats, exchanging knowing looks when she unashamedly cited examples of weird demands Makau had been making to her in bed

“I left because he began using libido enhancing drugs, which has made him develop an insatiable appetite for sex. He had formed a habit of asking me to perform weird and shameful acts in bed,” revealed Mwongeli in a local dialect, leaving elders suppressing chuckles.

Fearing she could conk out dead following the Viagra-fueled bedroom marathons, she fled back to her parents’ home in Nguni, along Mwingi-Garissa Road six months ago.

Explaining the melon that broke the monkey’s back, Mwongeli narrated how on her last night at the home, her husband kept going on and on, even after she requested to take a rest.

“He wanted to kill me that night. He made love to me non-stop. When I asked him to let me take a breather, he refused. At my age, I find somethings shameful. And again, I don’t have the energy for such torturous bedroom acrobatics. I packed and left the following day,” she said.

Mwongeli revealed that her husband’s weird behavior began earlier in the year.

Makau is a small scale beekeeper and sells his honey in the nearby Mwingi town. During his regular visits, he apparently made friends with fellow honey dealers who Mwongeli claims introduced him to libido boosting drugs and adult movies.

“I noted the change in his behavior earlier in the year. He would ask me to perform strange styles, which he has never asked for the 40 years we have been together. Upon probing him, he confessed that fellow bee farmers he hangs out with in Mwingi town have been tipping him on how to make me happy in bed,” she said.

Apparently, the younger farmers introduced him to libido enhancing drugs, and have been taking him to backstreet movie dens— where adult movies are shown.

“When he returned home, he always tried the things he had been told or seen in the videos on me,” added Mwongeli.

Some of her statements momentarily threw the elders into a long teary laughter, forgetting the problem at hand.

All the while, her husband, guilty as charged, looked on as he expressed his remorse, begging her to return to him.

She revealed that after she fled, Muli had visited her home on several occasions, begging for forgiveness and a reunion.

Mwongeli told the elders that she had forgiven her husband and appeared before them so as to involve them in reuniting her with him.

“I have come here for you to compel Makau to take an oath and declare before everyone that he is not going to subject me to the mistreatment and painful experience again,” she told Laban Muli, the council’s chair who pleaded to Makau, urging him to be considerate to his wife.

Muli warned him against the bad company of young naughty men.

On his part, a remorseful Muli explained how he was inducted into the use of libido enhancers and blue movies.

He swore that he will change his ways, and asked to be forgiven for shaming fellow elders and subjecting his wife to indecent acts.

After details of the scandalous news broke, it has remained the talk of the town.
