Several Coast leaders have issued success messages to all KCPE and KCSE candidates across the country.
KCPE kicks-off today, October 30, while KCSE will officially kick-off on November 5, nationwide.
The Kenya National Examination Council (Knec) and the Ministry of Education under Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed's leadership said all systems had been put in place to ensure the exercise is a success.
Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori, Wundanyi MP Danson Mwashako are among leaders who have issued success messages, asking the candidates to keenly focus on the exams.
"Dear candidates, the only thing between you and success is the exams. Face them with immense confidence and courage as you march on to greatness. I wish you the very best," Governor Joho said.
On her part, Jumwa said: "As our KCSE and KCPE candidates are sitting for their final national examinations, may I take this opportunity to wish all candidates in the Country and more so Malindi Constituency the very best in this year’s exam.
I also appreciate the efforts and policies put in place by the Ministry of Education to ensure that candidates have a good environment to sit for their exams and all measures put in place to curb examination malpractices.
To our candidates success is not measured by what you have done, compared to what someone else has done but by what you have done, compared to what you could have done with your ability.
Lastly, be assured that your teachers, parents and myself are proud of you.
God bless you & Good Luck."
