For the second time in as many months, ODM leader Raila Odinga is likely to share podium with DP William Ruto later on in November.
Lately, the relationship between the duo could not be described as best but at least social functions have been bringing them closer.
And ahead of Don Bosco Gichana's homecoming, the two leaders, who played instrumental role in his release, will share podium in a venue likely to be Gusii stadium.
In August, Ruto met Raila in Nyamira during the burial of former Minister Henry Obwocha and political fireworks dominated the event.
Mr. Bosco, who was released from a Tanzania prison recently, hailed the two leaders for helping him settle Sh15 million fine that was imposed by the court after pleading guilty to money laundering and fraud charges.
"I am grateful to Raila, Ruto, Governor James Ongwae, Oscar Sudi and a host of friends who helped me pay the fine.
"We are waiting for two religious leaders before we get the date for homecoming which shall coincide with a memorial mass for my late mum,” concluded Mr Gichana.
The two leaders have reportedly been invited to the function and a source says they would attend due to magnitude it may have on the ground.
Having worked closely with Raila and Ruto in the past, Bosco is said to be at crossroads over the side he would take even as he prepares to join county politics.
"Both leaders have been invited. They are likely to come given the exposure the event will give to them in Gusii region," said a source, who is not authorized to speak on behalf of Bosco.
Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi, a relative to Bosco, has been working behind scenes to convince the popular businessman to join Ruto's wing.
