If you have ever heard of a genius here is one Candidate from Kisii who shocked his school and Parents.
Kepha Okero is a candidate from Itibo Boys Boarding Primary school in Kitutu Chache North, Kisii County who missed only 1 mark to clear the 2018 K.C.P.E Mathematics Paper. He managed 99% out of the total possible 100%.
The school which had 44 candidates, 8 of them scoring above 400 Marks and 15 Candidates above 350 garnered an M.S.S of 356.91 where Mathematics topped overall with a mean grade of 75.64.
From the school results seen by this writer, 19 candidates out of a total of 44 scored above 80% in mathematics.
Speaking to this writer, Sospeter Okero his father confirmed and said the boy has made him a proud father.
"Am a proud father. The son has really made me proud since yesterday. I thank God for enabling him to pass this paper and overall performance in General. He tells me he wants to study medicine after form 4,"
Kepha who has also been termed as a humble, God fearing and hardworking boy scored a total of 417 marks taking position six from the first student Salim Ombongi who garnered a total of 434 Marks.
Our effort to reach his mathematics teacher Mr. Dancan Ogamba Monyoncho was futile for his phone was off by the time this story was being published.
