Mwangangi said she has been impartial and therefore the claims by a section of the MCAs are baseless and non-factual.

She made the sentiments during the assembly's meeting on Tuesday.

Mwangangi said as the assembly's Speaker, she has been giving equal attention to members from both minority and majority sides of the house without favor.

However, she observed that some of the MCAs have been making technical appearances in the assembly by signing and leaving.

"Some members have been making technical appearances by attending sittings and leaving after a few minutes," Mwangangi said.

Mwangangi said there have been allegations that she has been writing motions like the recent one that saw Deputy Governor Francis Maliti's impeachment from the CEC finance docket.

"There have been allegations by some members of this very house that the speaker is writing motions and doing things she shouldn't do. It is not true, it's against the standing orders," Mwangangi said.

She said her work according to the standing orders is to approve, discuss and advise the members about the business of the house.
