Garissa Woman Representative Anab Subow Gure now wants Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria to stop his verbal attacks against National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale.
Subow says that Kuria’s attacks are malicious and meant to tarnish the Garissa legislator's name.
Speaking to journalists in Garissa Town on Friday, the Woman Rep asked Kuria to respect Duale and stop discussing him in the media. She told the Gatundu South MP to use the right channels if he has issues with Duale’s leadership in the National Assembly."Moses Kuria should stop this malicious attacks on Duale and respect him as the Leader of Majority,” she said.
Subow stated that Duale was given the Majority leader position bythe Jubilee Party and he deserves respect.
The Garissa Woman Rep accused Kuria of allegedly plotting to create rifts in the Jubilee Party.
Kuria has accused Duale of allegedly planning for his removal from the budget and Transport committees.
The vocal Gatundu South legislator further accuses Duale of allegedly blocking his Bills.
He claims that Duale has refused to table his bills in Parliament.
Kuria cites the NGO’s Bill, Coffee and Interest Rates Bill which he claims have not been brought to the floor of the House since 2014.
The MP is now plotting for Duale’s removal as Majority leader.
Duale has, however, rubbished the Gatundu South MP’s allegations terming them pure malice.
