29-year-old Monica Nyawira Karanja, whose body was found in her house in Kilimani on Thursday, September 20, was a girl eating life with a big spoon.
Nyawira touched down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Wednesday from South Sudan where she reportedly was running a family business.
On the same night, she met 'two friends in her house', before she was found dead the following day.
Her dad said she had bought a house at Ruaka but decided to have an apartment at Kilimani over its proximity to Nairobi's Central Business District.
On Thursday, the day her lifeless body was found dumped in the bathtub, she was set to fly to Dubai for vacation.
A scan through her photos on social media showed Monix, as she was known by her pals, was not your ordinary 29-year-old girl.
A friend who knew her told this writer that she was a 'smart and hardworking girl'.
The friend said Nyawira was the CEO of Nix Designs. At Nix Designs, the last Facebook post was done in June 2015. It is photos of herself with her employees.
Have a look at her pictures which paint the image of a flashy girl enjoying the goodies of life.
