The two broached serious political issues and also personal issues.

Around a well-polished mahogany table, Duale talked about adding more wives to his one and only wife.

He told Maribe that his Garissa Township constituents kept asking him why he had not added another wife to take care of his mansion in the constituency.

"I am allowed to marry four wives. My constituents ask me every time,"Why don't you add another wife?" Yes, I accept that I have three chances to marry again. Those watching can also apply," Duale said, triggering laughter from Maribe.

He added that having more wives was allowed by the religion he professes, Islam.

Currently, the outspoken legislator has only one wife with whom he has kids.
