The operators woke up to shock as their premises had been bulldozed.

According to sources, a renowned businessman in Nakuru has taken over the business premise.

The demolitions have been occasioned by the upgrading of the Shadrack Kimalel Road adjacent to Ngala Estate that has also seen rise and construction of new business and residential premises along the area.

The operators now want the government to come clean on how the private developer has acquired the piece of plot.

“We were shocked this morning with the demolitions. The question we are asking is how did the private developer acquire the piece of plot. We want our elected leaders to come out clear on this,” one operator said.

John Muthee Ngunjiri, from Trading Tango Auctioneers General Merchant, said they had been tasked to execute the court order.

“I am executing a court order from the Chief Magistrate’s court Nakuru Civil suit number 673 of 2014. So this is purely a court order,” said Ngunjiri.
