On Monday, Ruto defended his 'husler' tag, insisting that his humble beginnings taught him much about working hard and achieving in life.

But Bosire, who serves as ODM treasurer, says the DP is a pretender and his days will be cut short in ballot should he run in 2022 polls.

"You can't go around telling us you're a husler. Huslers do not steal from poor people like you. Your days in office are numbers and we can't wait to defeat you in ballot," Bosire said in a phone interview on Wednesday.

Particularly, the former ODM legilator accused Ruto of 'buying' Gusii MPs, adding that he is also behind reallocation of Sh30 billion meant for construction of Manga Multipurpose dam in North Mugirango.

"He has even bought our MPs and capitalised on the same to steal resources allocated to Gusii. We are aware that he reallocated money meant for construction of Magwagwa Multipurpose dam to Kimwarer and Arror dams."

Recently, Lake Basin Development Authority Chief Raymond Omollo cried foul that the money under scrutiny in Kimwarer and Arror dams was initially meant for Magwagwa Multipurpose dam.

Mr Bosire has been leading onslaught against the DP, also persistently accusing him of relaunching old projects which no longer matter besides launching suspected ghost projects.
