Anthony Kimani Nyagah was arrested by local chiefs following a tip-off from members of the public.

The man was found in possession of the drug at his home.

The bhang was packed in quarter kilogram rolls.

The operation conducted by eight chiefs is part of an ongoing crackdown on illicit brews and drugs in the area.

Senior chief in charge of Majimoto location Peter Ndehi said the man confessed to be a drug peddler at Naishi, Miti mingi and Kianjoya, Bagaria and Kirimu areas.

He said that this was the second incident in which bhang has been nabbed in the area.

He called on the youth in the area to desist from drug abuse and instead engage in meaningful income generating activities.

The suspect will be charged in Nakuru law courts tomorrow.
