Slain Egesa FM presenter Joseph Mochere asked people to desist from pouring tributes during his funeral, it has now emerged.
Mr. Mochere, popularly known as Okebiro O'Mose, died on Saturday from alleged suicide at his Imara Daima home.
And in one of clips recorded from a previous show, he is heard warning listeners from giving speeches during his funeral.
"We shall all die some day because that's the will of God. I know we shall have committee arranging for the funeral.
"But I don't see the essence of having lengthy speeches or even having them. Just come, pray and bury me," he's heard advising his followers in one of the comedy.
While most of his utterances may have been just to light up his audience, they have however seemed to typically reflect circumstances surrounding his death.
Last year during the burial of a local musician, Onsongo Omosongo, Mr. Mochere was also quoted saying that he'd received a 'letter for his death' adding that fans should also turn up in numbers.
His wife, Teresa Moraa, claimed that he'd threatened to kill everyone in his house hours before committing suicide.
