A tough and fearless legislator from Western Kenya has called on the immediate dissolution of government by president Uhuru Kenyatta citing rampant corruption that has rocked the country and brought it to its knees.
The Kimilili Member of Parliament who is Dr.Ruto's close ally from the region asked the President to dissolve both the legislature and executive if the allegations of corruption are true.
Taking to his twitter handle, the Kimilili MP stated that the country should not be held ransom for some individuals personal gain through tainting the image of others.
"If the allegation of loss of billions through corruption is legit, then Uhuru Kenyatta should call for the dissolution of both the executive and parliament," he Tweeted, adding that the dissolution will give Kenyans an opportunity to elect new and trustworthy leaders.
He argued that this way, they will be weeding out the corrupt leaders.
"let Kenyans go for fresh elections to weed out the chaff and bring in a more reliable form of leadership," he added.
The MP further challenged and warned government detractors to stop propagating lies to taint the government image.
"However, if the allegations are untrue, then the lords of poverty should be warned against propagating a narrative that is erroneous and painting the government in bad light," read the Tweet.
