The FIFA 2018 World Cup Finals comes to an end on Sunday when two giant European nations will meet face to face in a do or die fight for the world's most coveted trophy.
The much-awaited encounter will be between France, the 1998 World Cup champions, and Croatia which has qualified to the finals for the first time.
Passionate football fans around the globe are either placing their money on Les Blues or little known 'Vetreni' and Deputy President William has not been left behind.
In a tweet after Croatia knocked out England in the second semi-final to qualify to the finals, the DP admitted he was in a big dilemma on which team to back.
He said he was admiring France because it had many players with African roots but maintained he will 'die' with Croatia, the presumed underdogs.
"Torn between France, the only African team in the finals, and Croatia, my favourite and underdog. I guess Croatia is my team for finals! Meanwhile congrats brits for a good show. Brexit it was!" Ruto posted.
France earned its slot in the finals after defeating Belgium 1-0 courtesy of Samuel Umtiti header in a match played on Tuesday.
Croatia came from behind to beat England 2-1 in extra time when Mario Mandzukic netted a classic goal on 109th minute.
They meet on Sunday July 15, 2018 at the Luznniki Stadium, Moscow at 6:00pm.
