Kisii Governor James Ongwae has registered for his Huduma Namba.
The county boss while speaking on Thursday at the county headquarters, appealed to Kisii residents to turn up in large numbers to register for Huduma Namba as it will help the residents get government services quickly.
"I am registering for my Huduma Namba so that Kisii residents can also see and show up to register. I want to tell the people of Kisii that this personal identification system will help simplify processes and enhance public service delivery in Kenya," he said.
He slammed a section of politicians and members of the clergy opposed to the Huduma Namba initiative saying that the registration process has nothing to do with satanic beliefs.
"All Kenyans should listen to President Uhuru Kenyatta's directive that we register with NIIMS to boost governance. Registration clerks are available in all our villages in Kisii County with over 800 registration kits where residents can be registered," he stated.
Ongwae challenged Kisii County workers to ensure they are registering for the Huduma Namba.
He further urged local politicians to stop politicizing the initiative adding that spreading propaganda about government programs won't earn anyone votes.
