Kanu chairman Gideon Moi has wondered why his political opponents are ‘panicking’ over his moves yet he has not declared he is interested in any seat.
Moi speaking in Sotik on Sunday said that he has not declared any interest in the country’s to seat yet some people are attacking him over the same.
“I am not interested in anybody’s position for now. Some people get jitters at the mention of my name,” Moi said.
The son of retired President Daniel Moi asked leaders to respect each other and cease from throwing insults.
Moi spoke after he faced a hostile crowd that heckled him and told the soft-spoken politician to ‘forget the presidency’.
The hecklers later broke into a dance praising Deputy President William Ruto as the ‘true son of the soil’.
Ruto’s allies have been accusing Moi of having plans to run for the top seat to ‘spoil’ it for the DP.
