Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has joined Kenyans online in empathising with ailing Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth.
The second-time legislator is battling stage four colorectal cancer.
Okoth on Tuesday shared his photo on social media and opened up about how chemotherapy was affecting his skin.
"Napambana na hali yangu kabisa (I'm still fighting with all I've got). Chemo drugs brutal on the skin and immune system," he posted in response to a tweep who had enquired on his health status.
The photo elicited mixed reactions online with Kabogo leading Kenyans in wishing the ODM MP a quick recovery.
"Mhesh we are praying you get through this," tweeted the former county boss.
Busia Women Representative Florence Mutua was not left behind in sending her National Assembly colleague a message of encouragement.
"May God the true healer touch you Mhesh. We have you in constant prayer," Mutua posted.
Celebrated journalist Benard Otieno asked Kenyans to play for Okoth to overcome the deadly disease.
"Good morning fellow Kenyans, I urge you to very kindly join us in praying for Kibra MP Hon Ken Okoth who is battling to overcome terrible Cancer disease. Your single prayer could make a difference," he said.
