Kisii governor James Ongwae has been condemned by Kisii residents over his condolence message to the family of late Nyandika Mayioro who was abandoned by County government even after pleading for help while in Hospital.
Nyandika has been pleading with both County and National Government to help him regain his grabbed land at Esikimu settlement in Nyamira county and his house at Gusii stadium.
The late spend weeks at Christamarriane hospital which is barely 300M from the Governor's office.
"It’s with deep sorrow that I learnt of the sudden demise of athletics icon Nyantika Mayioro. Nyantika will be truly remembered for his outstanding contribution in athletics in Kenya and indeed the world," posted Ongwae on his Facebook wall.
