Deputy President William Ruto should carry the graft cross alone and stop dragging other leaders, Kisii senator Sam Ongeri said on Sunday.
Ongeri , while speaking Nyaboraire village Nyamira County, said Ruto should not be spared in graft war.
"DP Ruto should stop moving around the country opposing corruption. Let him carry his won cross because he is desperately using his allies to steal funds purposely to fund him during the 2022 polls," he said.
Ongeri reiterated that the government should arrest anyone obstructing graft investigations.
"We have people opposing graft war. It is high time anyone opposed to graft to be arrested for prosecution," he stated.
The Senator slammed DP Ruto over his continued blame on the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga over Jubilee party woes.
"Raila has nothing to do with the ongoing Jubilee woes. Ruto should spare Raila who only agreed to shake hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta to unite this country after the divisive 2017 polls," he added.
Mr Ongeri reiterated that if corruption won't end President Uhuru Kenyatta's Big 4 Agenda won't be realized because funds are ending into some individuals' pockets.
