A delegation from Kisumu East constituency in Kisumu county on Wednesday arrived in Jomvu sub-county in Mombasa for benchmarking.
Led by MP Shakeel Shabbir, the delegation was received by the assistant to Jomvu MP Badi Twalib, Moffat Mutero who conducted a formal introduction of all the staff members including the Constituency Development Fund Committee.
The delegation visited various development projects under the guidance of Mr. Mutero, Namasambu and Mrs. Ngala the Fund Accounts Manager. The areas visited include Miritini, Mikindani and Jomvu Kuu where various projects funded by CDF have been implemented.
Shabbir was impressed after seeing a youth resource centre in Mikindani that Badi constructed with funding from CDF. He said the project was well thought about since it would help the youth explore their talents.
At the end of their visit the delegation enjoyed some of the coastal delicacies served to them.
