Former Lagdera MP Farah Maalim now says that quest for rule of law is what drives the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji in the war against corruption and impunity.
The Wiper Party deputy leader says that DPP Haji means business in the war against corruption.
"Kenyans should sit and watch him (DPP Haji) fearless fight corruption,” he said in an interview on KTN News on Wednesday.
Maalim said that Haji has experience in criminal matters and will pursue corrupt suspects to their doorsteps.
The former MP asked politicians to support the DPP and other agencies mandated to fight corruption.
He warned against politicizing the fight against graft.
“This is the time we need to unite and confront corruption for the wellbeing of our country,” he said.
On Tuesday during a briefing with journalists, DPP Haji said that more arrests are on the way.
He assured Kenyans that he will fight corruption and make the country proud.
The DPP spoke after ordering the arrest and prosecution of Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu.
