Bonchari MP John Oyioka said the country doesn’t have a strong opposition since Raila agreed to work with the Jubilee government for the sake of peace, unity, and harmony among Kenyans.

“Kenyans should not be cheated since we don’t have opposition. Raila is working closely with President Kenyatta after the historic handshake. Kalonzo’s Wiper party also agreed to work with Jubilee and this means we don’t have opposition,” he said.

He said Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula should stop chest thumbing that he is the official opposition leader because he doesn’t have massive support in the country.

“Wetangula should be ignored since he knows nothing about the roles of an opposition leader. Let him agree to support President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto for the shake of development in the country,” he noted.

The lawmaker said he is committed to delivering to the constituents irrespective of how they voted during the last year’s polls.

He dismissed claims that he will discriminate voters who voted for his rivals saying that is propaganda being spread to taint his name politically.
