The Jubilee Party faction allied to the DP has been blaming opposition leader Raila Odinga for almost everything affecting the DP that has been happening in government.

Speaking on Wednesday, the lawmaker faulted it saying it is a primitive political technique, wondering why he thinks everything happening is a weapon against him.

She urged the DP to man up and see things the way they really are, and at the same time, face issues he considers dangerous to him head-on, without dragging in other people's names.

"Iweje kila wakati analalamika? Awe mwanaume na ashughulike na kazi zake serikalini (How come he is complaining all the time? Let him, man up and concentrate on his work in government)," she said.

Millie was speaking on Mazungumzo Waziwazi Show on Radio Jambo, Wednesday night.

Millie noted that the lamentations from the DP's side are most likely a plot to paint Raila a bad man ahead of their possible faceoff in the 2022 presidential race.

However, she observed that heaping nonexistent blames on the former Prime Minister won't work for DP Ruto, advising him to get a better strategy.

"Kama ni kiti anataka aseme na aitafute kisawasawa. Asiwe kazi yake ni kulalamika kila wakati (If it is the seat he wants, he should say it and get it the right way. Let his job not to be complaining all the time)," added the Suba North MP.

Ruto who has been uncomfortable with Raila's truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta early last year accused Raila of using his closeness with the President to destroy Jubilee.
