Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) coordinator, Mwala branch Raphael Nzuki Kyalaani, said it's shameful for a senior politician like Muthama to engage in the war of words with Ndeti yet they belong to the same political party.

Kyalaani said the former governor should offer to advise Ndeti instead of picking fights with her at such crucial moments.

"Muthama should retrace his steps and look where he went wrong. He pulled out of the senatorial race, now he's back with a quarrel wanting Ndeti to drop Mathuki yet he knows that's not her decision to make," kyalaani said.

He spoke to this writer on the phone on Wednesday.

Kyalaani said Muthama should let it go and support Ndeti with her running mate, Mathuki who was chosen by the party.

He said Mathuki is not the governor hence should not be a problem for him.

"Muthama should stop viewing Wavinya Ndeti as an enemy. If he continues to fight he,  Governor Mutua might retain his seat," he said.

" You can't fight amongst yourself and expect to trounce your opponents. We have been struggling to dethrone Mutua for over five years only for you guys to turn the tables when we are almost there," Kyaalani concluded.
