Former Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has accused Senate Minority leader and Siaya Senator James Orengo of being insincere to ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking on Tuesday morning during the Am Live show on NTV, Midiwo said he disagreed with the Siaya Senator as a result of him not supporting Odinga with 'loyalty'.
"I have a tiff with James Orengo, and it is not historical, because I realized he (Orengo) doesn’t mean well for Raila," he said.
The former Gem MP who lost in the 2017 general elections to Elisha Odhiambo is a cousin to the ODM leader and the questions he possess for Orengo, will draw and raise eyebrows among the top leadership in the party.
With Odinga's age first growing, tussles in the party are expected especially after ODM lost two by elections; Ugenya and Embakasi South in which Orengo has been criticized for being responsible for the party's loss.
Orengo has been Odinga's closest ally and took the lead representing the latter in the two contested presidential elections; 2013 and 2017.
