Following long-standing controversies surrounding governor Ali Korane's alleged fake degree from the University of Nairobi, a private suit has finally been filed.
Through Musyoka Murambi and associates, the new suit seeks to quash the alleged academic document.
If the suit is successfully filed and determined, the governor will finally lose his position given the fact that one of the requirements for one to contest for the position is a university degree.
Ali Korane's case will be one of a kind if it sees the light of the day since a number of high profile politicians have also been mentioned in fake university degrees.
Some of the serving governors whose degrees have been contested are Ali Hassan Joho of Mombasa and Ferdinand Waititu of Kiambu county.
