On a daily basis, you will come across many types of people. They may say they love you or they like a certain aspect about you.

However, not all who say they love you or are good to you are really genuine about it. You need to look further than what you are seeing or hearing. You need to consider the possibility of being wrong with whatever decision you make.

On that note, it could be true that someone pretends to hit on you and comes close only because they see that you are the easiest route to getting to someone else.

Here are signs that you are being used as a bridge to get to someone else:

1. Constantly asking about them

Possibly the clearest indication that you are 'the bridge,' they will constantly be enquiring about your friend or someone close to you regardless of how far you may think you have progressed.

At times, it may be in good faith but not when it is always that way, watch out.

2. Asking about what they do

Just because they cannot get close enough to who they want and enquire something, they will resort to using you as the easiest route.

They may frame it in a way that is mild so that you do not realise anything but if it ever comes up, watch out. All may not be as it seems.

3. They ask about the last time you talked

Do you talk to him/ her? When was the last time you talked?... When you start hearing such questions, just know that communication is probably underway and they want to know if anything has been 'leaked'.

You don't have to react at this but when you hear it, just know you are losing out.
