The chemistry between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto that the two treated Kenyans to after the 2013 elections resurfaced on Saturday.
The two were in Rongai, Nakuru, during the burial of Sarah Jerop Kasaon, the wife of former Vice Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces Lt. Gen (Rtd) Joseph Kasaon.
The two displayed a chemistry not seen of late especially after Uhuru secured a second term.
Body language experts have been studying the relationship between the two concluding that things are no long the same.
The President had on several occasions accused of demeaning his deputy with such remarks as kijana was kutangatanga, referring to Ruto as huyu among others.
During the burial, the two were captured in uncontrollable laughter and whispering to each other often.
In one photo, Ruto is unable to control himself and bursts out loudly apparently after Uhuru share something funny.
Interestingly, the light moments came after Uhuru paid retired President Daniel Moi a courtesy call where they held a short meeting with him and his son Gideon.
