Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo is 'being blamed' after Belgium knocked off most of Kenyans' World Cup favourite Brazil 2-1 on Friday in the quarter-finals, moving on to the semifinals to face France.

Like many Kenyans, the former governor was in full Brazil uniform to cheer on his favourite team to the semis. 

However, his wish did not happen after Belgium took a commanding 2-0 lead in the first half. 

Belgium ensured Kabogo's team does not enjoy their tic talk game style after launching dangerous counter attacks from time to time. Chelsea's star Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne ensured Brazil midfield is kept fragile and porous.

After the game, Kabogo's photo was shared on the United States of Kiambu Facebook page, and this is what people said:
