Business mogul Manu Chandaria has opened up about his private life.
In an interview with K24’s Betty Kyalo, Chandaria revealed that the secret to success is hard work.
The wealthy businessman said that it takes a lot to reach your dreams in life. He also said that he has been married for 64 years to Aruna. Chandaria, 90, said that his wife is the best thing that has ever happened to him.
The businessman, who got married on April 30, 1955, confessed that marriage has endless challenges. He also said that he doesn’t regret the decision to get married at the age of 26 and he has learned a lot since he decided to settle down in marriage.
He also admitted that marriage is not easy while citing several challenges he has faced since he decided to walk down the aisle. The wealthy man said that tolerance is the secret to the success of his marriage to the love of his life.
“64 (years) is a long time and the only thing is that how comes it has continued. It’s because of give and take from both sides and consideration for each other. Love drives off after a period of time, but consideration of each other always makes life a possibility,” Dr Chandaria said.
He holders of bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma (1950).
The success he has gained from the business field has made him a role model to youthful entrepreneurs as well as scholars.
