Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka are clearly no friends anymore.
Kibwana stated that he was not happy when Kalonzo said he was going to be President Uhuru Kenyatta’s errand boy and warned leaders allied to him against questioning his decision.
According to Kibwana, Kalonzo was targeting him in one way or another following the remark.
The Makueni county boss said Kalonzo knew very well that he was going to question his decision and that is why he sounded the warning in time.
“During the funeral of Kalonzo’s dad, he announced to be the President’s errand boy and said no one should question him. He was pointing fingers at me since he knew very well I will question,” Kibwana said.
He addressed the press in Makueni County on Thursday.
The governor also accused Kalonzo of killing democracy within Wiper, stating that there is no way he expects to run a party without any form of complaints from the members.
Kibwana faulted Kalonzo on what he termed as dictatorship in the management of Wiper party affairs.
“You cannot call your party Wiper Democratic, then kill the democracy in it. If you don’t let people question, what do you imply?” Kibwana said.
