A list of MPs who apparently received as little as between Sh10,000 and Sh30,000 to pull down the contraband sugar report has surfaced.
According to a list of shame published in one of the Kenyan weekly newspapers, the Weekly Citizen, over 50 members of Parliament queued up for cash handouts on Thursday, August 9 within Parliament buildings.
Some of the big names from Northern Kenya named by the publications that are; Sophia Noor(Ijara), Abdikadir Aden of Balambala.
Wajir's Women Rep, Fatuma Gedi, has denied facilitating the handout.
The publication claims that quite a number of Nothern Kenya legislators received the shocking bribes.
They have denied those allegations and maintained their innocence.
