And as usual, the slight direction of the contest will be out by late Monday or early Tuesday amid the counting of votes, leading to celebrations the next day as the supporters of the leading candidate anticipate a win.
This will turn major towns like Migori, Awendo, Uriri and Rongo noisy, as the winning sides celebrate while the supporters of the other candidates mourn their pending defeat.
With the race bringing together 5 aspirants, the remaining 4 are expected to soon call press conferences the next day to either concede defeat or reject the results and announce their next moves.
The winner, on the other hand will take to the media to accept the win and thank the people for their support as is usually the case, then acknowledge his opponents and invite them to join him in leading the great county.
The winner is as well expected take to the towns to thank the people in the company of their supporters, fellow leaders, and campaigners, a situation that will bring the county to a standstill as was the case during the campaign period.
