There was drama at Bonyando village in Bogiakumu on Tuesday afternoon after a woman stormed a widow's house and caught her husband enjoying the 'forbidden fruit' with the widow.
Faith Moraa said she has been suspecting her husband Moses Oyieyo of having an affair with the widow identified as Marisela Kwamboka.
"My husband left home pretending he was going to look for napiergrass for our cow only to end up at Kwamboka's house to enjoy afternoon sex. A passerby who saw him enter the house notified me, and sure enough, when I stormed the house, I caught them red-handed," said Moraa.
Moraa said she descended on the two with kicks and blows but her husband managed to escape through the backdoor abandoning a machete which he had carried with him in the name of looking for napiergrass.
Area assistant chief John Ongoro condemned the man saying he has brought shame to men in the area.
"Married men should learn to respect their wives who are faithful in marriage. People like Oyieyo should be caned thoroughly," he said.
Mr. Ongoro said a machete Oyieyo abandoned inside the widow's bedroom was recovered.
