Last Friday, the Supreme Court disposed the last election petition in which Wajir Governor Mohamed Abdi secured victory despite losing in High Court and Appeals Court to his competitor Ahmed Abdullahi.

And the senior counsel has accused unnamed judge of bribery, adding that he shall expose the name to Chief Justice David Maraga on Monday in a confidential petition.

"Everybody knows the fact that a judge of the SUPREME COURT OF KENYA charged 50 million Shillings a case during the election petitions. Yet the CJ and JSC do nothing about this...I know for a fact 5 specific cases the judge asked for and was given that sum," he said, adding that a judge took money last Friday at Banda school from Wajir boss.

He added: "On Monday i will write a confidential letter to the CJ and disclose to him which judges were bribed and how much money they got and by whom...one of the JUDGES was bribed through a member of parliament and the money taken from the Branch of a local bank in Eastleigh."

Cases of bribery in the Supreme Court are not anonymous given that former Judge Philip Tonui was accused of taking Sh200 million from former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero in an election petition.

But despite the damning allegations about Supreme Court Judges, CJ David Maraga has remained mum over the issues.

With Maraga sitting as president of the court and Philomena Mwilu as deputy, other judges include Njoki Ndung'u, Smokin Wanjala, Jackton Ojwang, Mohammed Ibrahim and Isaac Lenaola.
