Have you ever noticed that the person you like or you have a huge crush on will always be posting cute photos on Facebook and or on Instagram?

This is not the problem, in fact, it is cool. But the problem is when you start commenting on these photos with quotes you read in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and then you are just shut off like a total stranger.

Take it, for instance, you just want to show the whole world that you love this girl and then your comment, " Hey love, you look beautiful, every day we are taking our love to the next level."

She will first ignore this and reply to comments from her cousins and her girlfriends and then after a long wait she responds to yours,"Thank you Kevin Ochieng, a former primary school classmate". Dude, you have been put where you belong. But How do you avoid this?

1. Don't always rush to celebrate other people

Just because she is cute, it does not mean that you have the right to go around yapping about it, it is her life. I rarely comment on people's social media status, I am so mean with my like and a comment, this is what should also be your case. It will save you a lot of embarrassment.

2. Keep your feelings in the DM

Probably, she posted there so as to get those other "cool" guys to follow her in the DM. This is Africa and you will agree with me that probably all her relatives are watching, why would she want to "embarrass" her ancestors, the whole community, and her future generation by accepting that she loves you too?

3. Just give a simple comment

It won't make you a lesser man if you just clicked the like button and then continued with your other businesses or just a simple comment like "nice pic'. This will make things easier for both of you. The embarrassments will be kept away.
