Activist Boniface Mwangi on Wednesday stirred the internet after he shared a 'brutal' message to Kenyans.
Mwangi shared a picture of Kenyans heading to work early in the morning and said the middle-class Kenyans are 'slaves'.
"Slaves heading to work! It’s 5:30 am and there is traffic on Mlolongo heading to Nairobi city," he captioned a photo of motorists heading to the city.
The activist, who vied for Starehe MP seat before being whitewashed by Jubilee's Charles Njagua, said Kenya's lack of a proper transport system has pushed many people to buy private cars.
" Our country lacks a reliable public transport system so every slave who gets a decent job applies for a car loan. The slaves also elect idiots from their tribe to lead them. Instead of the elected idiots sorting out the public transport system and the perennial traffic, they acquire sirens, chase cars, armed bodyguards and bully the slaves off the road so that they can pass. Liberate your minds, slaves.," Mwangi added.
The message, which a section of Kenyans said is 'brutally honest' lit the internet as netizens gave their insights on the same.
