Already, businessman Francis Mburu, who claims ownership of the land, was arrested by the police as investigations to shade more light.

But a report by the anti-graft body to the DPP has poked holes to fraudulent activities involving the saga with Matiang'i and Education PS Belion Kipsang implicated.

"That a report dated Feb 3rd copied to Education PS indicated that the land was public and that the school has an allotment letter.

"That the CS (Matiang'i) wrote to NLC chairman Mohammed Swazuri on March 17th asking him to initiate acquisition of the land despite the Quality Assurance report that declared the land public," reads part of the report.

The latest twist of events could see Noordin Haji, the DPP initiating criminal charges against the three top government officials.

While appearing in the Senate on Monday, Education CS Amina Mohammed conceded that the acquisition of the land was done hastily without proper research.

Despite the saga, Matiang'i, a no nonsense minister, who has been leading war against graft, has gone silent on the matter.

And his job along with Mr. Kipsang and Swazuri could be at state given that the report now gives the DPP authority to summon or have them arrested for investigations.
