Wamalwa said Raila should be respected as the official opposition leader who agreed to work with the government for the sake of unity, peace, and harmony in the country.

"Raila is a good friend to the government for those who don't know. His decision to shake hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta should not be taken for granted since after the historic handshake we have witnessed progress in this country. It is time that the leaders should work together for the purpose of serving Kenyans," he said.

He noted that it is time for elected leaders to deliver to the electorates as by the promises they made during 2018 the campaigns.

"We don't want blame game to start in the future. Leaders who were elected by the people of Kenya must deliver. All we want is service delivery to boost the lives of our people," he added.

He was speaking on Monday at Gusii stadium in Kisii County.
