Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja came to the rescue of a man who had been jilted by his girlfriend for being poor.
The man was reportedly dumped by the lover a few days to their wedding after she discovered he was poor.
However, another woman has accepted the man and are planning for their wedding. Senator Sakaja who had attended a service at Jesus Winner Ministry in Roysambu consoled the man saying he will give out his guzzler to chauffeur the man and his new bride.
“Alafu pia nimesikia story ambayo imeniguza kuna ule kijana ambaye alikuwa amekataliwa. Huyu ni wetu hata wakikukataa tumekuchukua na tumekukubali na hiyo harusi yake kwanza atabebwa na gari yangu,” said Sakaja.
Sakaja also gave the man Sh50, 000 as a present.
After the nasty incident, the church's pastor employed the man for Sh15, 000 monthly.
Senator Sakaja offered to top the salary to Sh30, 000 every month.
