A middle aged man on Sunday stabbed his brother to death for allegedly grazing on his land without consent before injuring a neighbour.
The neighbour who witnessed the ordeal, was had come to resolve the dispute between the two before he was badly injured.
According to Anne Kemunto, a witness, the man who stabbed his brother identified Daniel Abuga, stabbed his brother after a slight quarrel.
“When he heard his elder brother was not responding, he rushed to his house, picked a kitchen knife and stabbed him on the chest," she said.
Confirming the incident, area Chief Dickson Masi, said the police had already taken the body to the Nyamira morgue and will immediately start investigations.
“We are saddened of the incident where the young man stabbed his brother to death as well as injured his neighbour. He's still at large," said Masi
The chief warned locals against taking law into their hands and called upon them to cooperate with the police for the man to be arrested.
